Surah Al-Ahzab (33:4) Quran.com
Allah has not made for a man two hearts in his interior. And He has not made your wives whom you declare unlawful your mothers. And he has not made your adopted sons your [true] sons. That is [merely] your saying by your mouths, but Allah says the truth, and He guides to the [right] way. (Sahih International)
Surah Al-Ahzab (33:37) Quran.com
And [remember, O Muhammad], when you said to the one on whom Allah bestowed favor and you bestowed favor, "Keep your wife and fear Allah," while you concealed within yourself that which Allah is to disclose. And you feared the people, while Allah has more right that you fear Him. So when Zayd had no longer any need for her, We married her to you in order that there not be upon the believers any discomfort concerning the wives of their adopted sons when they no longer have need of them. And ever is the command of Allah accomplished. (Sahih International)
Surah Fatir (35:14) Quran.com
If you invoke them, they do not hear your supplication; and if they heard, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your association. And none can inform you like [one] Acquainted [with all matters]. (Sahih International)
Surah Nuh (71:6) Quran.com
But my invitation increased them not except in flight. (Sahih International)
Surah Al-Ahqaf (46:5) Quran.com
And who is more astray than he who invokes besides Allah those who will not respond to him until the Day of Resurrection, and they, of their invocation, are unaware. (Sahih International)
Surah Fussilat (41:49) Quran.com
Man is not weary of supplication for good [things], but if evil touches him, he is hopeless and despairing. (Sahih International)
Surah Ar-Rum (30:52) Quran.com
So indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they turn their backs, retreating. (Sahih International)
Surah An-Naml (27:80) Quran.com
Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating. (Sahih International)
Surah Al-Furqan (25:77) Quran.com
Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent. (Sahih International)
Surah Maryam (19:48) Quran.com
And I will leave you and those you invoke other than Allah and will invoke my Lord. I expect that I will not be in invocation to my Lord unhappy." (Sahih International)

My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication. (Sahih International)
Surah Ar-Rad (13:14) Quran.com
To Him [alone] is the supplication of truth. And those they call upon besides Him do not respond to them with a thing, except as one who stretches his hands toward water [from afar, calling it] to reach his mouth, but it will not reach it [thus]. And the supplication of the disbelievers is not but in error [i.e. futility]. (Sahih International)
Surah Aal-E-Imran (3:38) Quran.com
At that, Zechariah called upon his Lord, saying, "My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication." (Sahih International)

And when We bestow favor upon man, he turns away and distances himself; but when evil touches him, then he is full of extensive supplication. (Sahih International)
